Washburn is moving to Windows 10
Support for Windows 7 will end in February 2020. Therefore, Washburn University must begin to phase out Windows 7 as quickly as possible. All new computers installed as of Fiscal Year 2019, and moving forward, will be equipped with Windows 10. Existing computers that are capable of running 10 will be upgraded over the following 12-16 months, beginning with Classrooms and Computer Labs, followed by Faculty and Staff machines. You may request to upgrade early by emailing support@washburn.edu.
Need access to a campus system?
Department Heads or Supervisors can request access to campus systems for new hires, employee transfers, and student employees. These campus systems include Argos, Banner, website editing, D2L, department calendars, imaging, mailing lists, shared S Drive, and video streaming.
Missing a file on your network drive?
Faculty and staff, after determining that a file is indeed missing, may request that it be restored from backup. Students with missing files must ask a faculty member to submit the request.
Test Scoring
Test scoring is offered as two versions for Washburn faculty. The first version is self test scoring. We have a self scanner located in Mabee Library where you can scan and score the sheets yourself. Information on the process is available at the location for self-service test scoring.
