Why study environmental studies at Washburn?
This program dives deep into the relationship between humans and the environment, using ideas from science, social studies and the arts. You'll gain a complete understanding of pressing environmental challenges such as climate change, energy, pollution, biodiversity loss and more. By joining this program, you'll be equipped to address and communicate complex issues like climate change, energy, pollution, waste, biodiversity loss, population growth, food production, environmental racism, and the moral standing of nonhuman animals and future generations. Prepare to be a leader in creating a sustainable future!
