- Career Accomplishments
- Dr. Montgomery earned her BSN from Emporia State University in 2011. After working as a hospice case manager for 3 years, she went on to complete her DNP at the University of Kansas in 2019. Her passion in nursing continues to be in hospice and palliative medicine and she loves to share this passion with others. Following completion of her DNP, she worked as a palliative medicine nurse practitioner and continues to work as a hospice nurse practitioner PRN. She is board certified by AANP as an Adult and Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner and most recently she became board certified by HPNA/HPCC as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN).
