- Scholarly Interests/Activities
- I like to write music. I've written over 300 songs, some are for organ, some are for piano, and some are for choirs. I also like to write screenplays and enter them in contests. I've been a quarterfinalist several times.
- Service Interests/Activities
- I have a Chimes Choir, which includes members from different churches. We play for church services and also for the Stormont Vail Rehab Center for the patients there to entertain them especially at Christmas time.
- Career Accomplishments
- CEO of the Genesis Music Foundation where we took deserving music students on Music Educational trips to Paris and one year to Hawaii. Also, I was the president of the Genesis Summer Music Camp where a group of students came for a week and learned beginning piano and performed. I had a Newsletter which informed other music teachers about the accomplishments of students and other teachers in Topeka. I've given organ recitals in Oklahoma City, Rochester N.Y, Bermuda, Topeka, Paris France, and performed with other students throughout France.
