Scholarly Interests/Activities

I am interested in promoting continuing education and advancement in forensic investigations as well as helping to guide future forensic scientists as they get into their field of interest.

Service Interests/Activities

I have worked hard and continue to strive to educate the public about the significance and limitations of forensic science and the use of physical evidence in solving criminal cases.

Career Accomplishments

I achieved my certification as a Crime Scene Analyst and as a Certified Latent Print Examiner through the International Association for Identification. I have been an active member in many forensic organizations over the last 12 years. I worked for 9 years as a crime scene investigator and latent print examiner with the Rapid City Police Department in Rapid City, South Dakota. I have co-authored two articles on latent fingerprint developed that have both been published in Identification Canada.
