Our Mission

To prepare qualified occupational therapy assistants who provide optimum patient care through technical competency and professional conduct in the profession of an occupational therapy assistant.

Goal

Upon completion of the program, the graduates will be a competent entry-level generalist occupational therapy assistant.

Objectives

Upon completion of the program, students will demonstrate:

  • Professional behavior consistent with employer expectations as entry-level generalist occupational therapy assistants.
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to clients, focusing on the application of purposeful and meaningful occupation.
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a variety of clients across the life span and to a variety of settings.
