Ye Wang received his MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. He has taught Drawing, Oil Painting, Watercolor, Ink Painting, and Mixed Media Painting since he joined Washburn University. Specializing in Photorealism, his work also reveals his interest in Impressionism. His recent painting series, Return to Classicism, reflects his thoughts on and homage to the European classical tradition from the perspective of a modern artist. He has won six top prizes in national art competitions.
