Career Accomplishments
I have published one collection of short stories (Self-Titled Debut, Subito Press, 2009). My story, "The Ballad of Ailin' Alan Smithee," was a Special Mention in Pushcart Prize XXXV. My essay, "Somewhere Better Than This Place," was a Notable Essay in The Best American Essays 2013.
