
Application and Admission
1. Apply to Washburn
If you are not already currently enrolled at Washburn University. Complete the “Freshmen, Transfer & High School” application for undergraduate status to the University. In the process of completing the application, declare the “Certificate in Radiation Therapy”.
2. Apply to Radiation Therapy
The Radiation Therapy application packet will be available on August 1. Applications will be accepted from September 1 through February 1. The application will provide further instructions and a list of all elements to include when applying.
3. Submit transcripts
Submit official academic transcripts from ALL educational institutions, where college credit was earned to both the Radiation Therapy Program and the Office of Admissions. If you are currently enrolled in a Radiography Program, ensure your official transcript includes your most recent fall semester grades.

If Sending Electronic Transcripts:
Send to etranscripts@washburn.edu. You only need to send electronic transcripts once, as both the Office of Admissions and the Radiation Therapy Program will receive them.
Important: To ensure the Radiation Therapy Program receives all necessary transcripts, students must indicate on the requested page in the application packet that the transcripts were sent electronically.
Application Deadline: February 1
Completed applications must be postmarked by February 1. Partial, faxed, or emailed applications will not be accepted. You may contact the Allied Health department at allied-health2@washburn.edu to confirm receipt of any application materials.
Applicants who meet the February 1 deadline will be notified via email by April 1st of acceptance or non-acceptance. Please be sure the email address provided on the application paperwork is legible and clear.
Applicants who submit an application after February 1 will be notified via email by May 1 about whether there are open spots in the class.
