| Alice Gardiner Sennrich was born in 1878 in Winchester, Kansas. She and her family moved to Valley Falls in 1880. It was there that she began to take pictures of the Valley Falls and it's events. Sennrich won awards through her involvement in the Photographers Association of Kansas as well as the National Association of Photographers. Alice Gardiner Sennrich passed away in 1968. Much of her equipment was donated to the Kansas Museum of History, and a couple of her negatives were donated to the Kansas Historical Society. *Information from the Kansas Historical Society website* |
