Faculty Handbook Review

During the spring 2012 semester, the University Counsel and the Vice President for Academic Affairs solicited volunteers to form a working group to review the Faculty Handbook and develop recommendations to reconcile current practice with existing Faculty Handbook policies.  Proposed modifications to the Faculty Handbook were submitted through the faculty governance process for review and approval. The ad hoc Faculty Handbook Review Committee was disbanded in fall 2016 and replaced with a Faculty Handbook Standing Committee which now reviews all proposed changes to the Faculty Handbook.
