Ichabod Days are events where you and your friends can explore Washburn together and get all of your questions answered about the admissions process, options for paying for college, housing options on campus and much more! Whether you're a high school senior, junior, sophomore or transfer student, we have events just for you!

Ichabod Senior Days

Ichabod Senior Days give high school seniors a detailed look at academics and student life at Washburn. You’ll learn what courses you might take for your major and careers for which it can prepare you, and you’ll explore the extracurricular opportunities that can enrich your academic experience. Meet professors and current Ichabods, take a tour of campus and meet your future classmates in a fun setting. You’ll even get to sample Washburn’s food because we’ll treat you to lunch!

  • Friday, October 5, 2018
  • Friday, November 2, 2018
  • Friday, November 16, 2018
  • Senior / Junior Day Combined - Friday, January 25, 2019

Ichabod Junior Days

It’s never too early to connect with Washburn University. High school juniors will learn about academic majors, student activities, opportunities for internships and community involvement in Topeka, as well as exciting career paths. You’ll also get a taste of Washburn’s delicious food when we treat you to lunch. 

Dates for Ichabod Junior Days 2018-2019 are:

  • Friday, March 8, 2019

See how easy it is to transfer to Washburn at Ichabod Transfer Day. You’ll learn about how courses transfer and which ones you might take next for your major. An activities fair will give you the opportunity explore student organizations that can enhance your educational experience before you hear from current Ichabods and tour campus.
