A step-by-step guide to becoming an Ichabod

Use this checklist to help guide you from visiting campus to your first week of classes.

Let's get started

  1. Schedule a campus visit.
  2. Apply online
  3. Order your official college transcript(s).

You're almost there

  1. Financial planning: How will you pay for college?
  2. Review housing options.
  3. File for your Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID and review information about scholarships, financial aid and employment.
  4. File your FAFSA by November 15 (Washburn's Federal Student Code: 001949).
  5. Check with Washburn Admissions to ensure your file is complete.
  6. Submit your housing contract and deposit starting in December.

Congratulations, You're an Ichabod!

  1. Register for Transfer Student Orientation.
  2. Send your final college transcript.
  3. Note your residential living assignment.
  4. Attend Welcome Week.
  5. Begin classes in August!
