Scholarly Interests/Activities

Dr. Peterson Dealey has presented to audiences of social workers and play researchers on the role of children's play in development and social/emotional well-being.

Research interests include children's play, the role of faith in social worker's career choices, and values and ethics in social work education and practice.

Service Interests/Activities

Throughout the years, Dr. Peterson Dealey has served local and church-based organizations focused on hunger relief locally and globally.

Career Accomplishments

Dr. Peterson Dealey is a clinical social worker with over 20 years experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan in the fields of child protection, long term care, home health and hospice care, and as a school social worker.
