Scholarly Interests/Activities
Directing, (especially new works), writing, performing and seeing amazing theatre. I'm currently adapting Gary Jackson's volume of poems, Missing You Metropolis, for the Washburn Stage.

Attended the KCACTF Playwriting Intensive (summer '06) and the Dell' Arte International workshop (summer '02) Member of the Lessac Institute (vocal training) since 2007, Dramatists' Guild since 1983, Board Member of InPlay Theatre (Kansas City) since 2004.Extensive involvement in the Kennedy Center's American College Theatre Festival's new play program - directing and mentoring development of student plays. Standing member of "The Hags," a Lawrence, KS based performance group.

Career Accomplishments
I've directed more than 50 productions, written more than 15 plays (most of them produced) and won a playwriting fellowship.
