Internships provide a personalized work experience in the student’s area of mass media specialization. The internship gives the student the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge of strategic and practical skills in a real-world environment, including learning about and adapting to the professional work place.
The internship coordinator maintains a network of contacts with professionals in radio, TV and cable companies, film production companies, newspapers, advertising and public relations agencies, and business and professional organizations.
