Applicants may pay the Housing Deposit in one of the following ways:

1. In Person with Check or Cash

  • Student must present valid WUID (iCard)
  • Checks should be made out to Washburn University for the amount of $300.00

2. Online with Credit Card (Please submit only once to avoid duplicate charges on your bank account.)

  • Return to MyWashburn --> Student Life tab
  • Click Pay Housing Deposit
  • Select WU-View, then click the Deposits tab
  • Select appropriate term
  • From drop-down menu labeled Select Deposit Payment, select Housing/Damage Dep...
  • Review and click Continue
  • Select Payment Method
  • Confirm Payment and view receipt
  • Return to your application in the Housing Portal in MyWashburn
  • Please note it may take up to 30-minutes for deposit to process before you are allowed to continue on your application.

3. By Mail with Check

  • Write a check out to Washburn University for the amount of $300.00
  • On the check or on a separate note, include the student's full legal name and WIN
  • Mail check with appropriate postage to:
