Washburn University is proud to host the Kansas Association for Resident Assistants in November of 2018! This year's theme is "Kara Me Away to Paradise." Washburn is located at 1700 SW College Avenue in Topeka, Kansas. Below, you will find information pertaining to the competitions, hotels, and registration.

Registration is open now through October 26th at 5pm. Registration rates are $70 per attendee, or $60 for attendees who submit a program proposal. 

An opportunity will be provided to participate in a philanthropy activity to create cards for veterans. Cards will be delivered to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs in celebration of Veteran's Day on November 11th.

Delegation Roll Call
Roll Call is a creative skit-like presentation. Delegation groups can introduce their members by utilizing a song, dance, chant, etc. If your delegation is using music or video, please submit the audio file no later than November 1st to resliving@washburn.edu
Banner Specifications

Banner dimmensions are no larger than 4 X 6 ft. and must be able to be displayed for judging.

The banner should relate to the conference theme (KARA Me Away to Paradise), and your school's name should be clearly visible.

Scoring criteria include: Relates to Theme, Displays School Pride, Creativity, Originality, Visual Appeal

Case Study Competition

This competition will provide participants with an opportunity to utilize teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking skills to establish an appropriate plan of action for a given scenario. Case Study registration will close on October 26th at 5pm. You will receive the case prompt on October 30th via email. Responses are due on November 2nd by 11:59pm. Responses will be sent to resliving@washburn.edu
