Fall Ceremonies

Friday, December 14, 2018
6:30 p.m.
Lee Arena - Petro Allied Health Center

Doors open to the public at 5:30 p.m.  
Family and guests - enter through the south or southeast doors and proceed to Lee Arena.
Students - enter through the south or southeast doors and report to Petro 125 to pick up name cards.

With respect to all, it is expected that graduates and their family and friends will remain for the entire ceremony. The Commencement ceremony is expected to last approximately two hours. Please make your plans accordingly.

No tickets are required.  The event is open to the public.

Parking is free on campus.  The closest lots are those surrounding Petro Allied Health Center.  Parking for persons with disabilities is located south of Petro in Lot 5.

University staff will be available to assist guests with special needs.  It is recommended that students and guests requiring assistance and/or special seating send an email to Student Services or call 785.670.1629 at least 2 weeks prior to the ceremony date.

Important Dates

September 4
Last day to file an Application for Graduation with the University Registrar's Office.
If you do not file by the deadline and plan to participate in the fall ceremony, contact the University Registrar.

September - December 9
Contact the Ichabod Shop for announcements and class rings

September 13
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Career and Graduate School Fair, Lee Arena

Visit with graduation representatives from:  Ichabod Shop, Jostens Rings, CB Grad (announcements), Alumni Association

October 25
 
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Visit the Grad Fair in Washburn A/B in Memorial Union

September 6 - October 28
Deadline for graduate (doctor's and master's) candidates to pre-order cap, gown and hood online or in person at the Ichabod Shop.
Additional shipping charges will apply after this date.

November 15 - December 8
Undergraduate regalia (cap and gown) can be purchased at the Ichabod Shop.
