Globalization and the Art Museum

Roberto Fernández Retamar, an internationally respected scholar and poet from Havana, Cuba, passed away in July of this year. He was an essayist, literary critic and President of the cultural organization Casa de las Américas. He was a true art lover, remarkable intellect and appreciator of works by artist Robert Rauschenberg.
