About Our Theatre

Located in the Garvey Fine Arts Center

The  Andrew J. and Georgia Neese Gray Theatre is located in the Garvey Fine Arts Center on Washburn's campus. The acoustically-designed thrust theatre is the site of sophisticated plays and musicals, from classical to contemporary. The seating capacity is 330 with several premium views compliant with ADA regulations.

The Neese Gray Theatre Lobby is our adjoining area with space for local artists and Washburn students to exhibit their works.

Costume Shop and Scene Shop

Costume Shop and Costume Inventory

Our costume shop is outfitted with Bernina sewing machines, a large workspace and class area, excellent lighting and an extensive costume inventory.

Scene Shop and Prop Storage

The scene shop is a well-lighted complete shop with wood and metal fabrication capabilities. We have a large furniture and prop storage area adjacent to the costume storage area.
