Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Services - Addiction Counseling

General Education Requirements: 27 hours

  • Arts & Humanities: 9 hours selected from the general education curriculum; 3 hours must be in Art, Music, or Theatre; no more than 6 hours from one discipline.
  • Natural Science & Mathematics: 9 hours selected from the general education curriculum; no more than 6 hours from one discipline, except in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics where up to 8 hours may be counted if earned in two separate General Education courses.
  • Social Sciences: 9 hours selected from the general education curriculum; no more than 6 hours from one discipline.

University Requirements: 12 hours   

  • MA 112 Cont. College Math OR  MA 116 College Algebra (3)
  • EN 101 First Year Writing (3)
  • EN 300 Advanced Composition (3)
  • WU 101 The Washburn Experience (3) OR IS100 The College Experience (3) OR HN101 Honors Washburn Experience (3)
