James A. (Jim) Klausman

James KlausmanJames Klausman was appointed to the Washburn University Board of Regents July 2, 2018 by Governor Jeff Colyer.  He received his bachelor's degree in political science from Washburn University in 1974.  He served a previous term as a Regent July 2010 to January 2015, being elected board chair 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.  Currently president and CEO of Midwest Health Inc., Klausman serves on the boards of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas and Go Topeka, on the advisory board of USBank, and is a member of Topeka Sales and Marketing Executives.  He is past president of the Kansas Health Care Association and a past chairman of the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce.  His term as a Regent is to expire June 30, 2022.
