“Construction of American Identity in Jewish American Literature after World War II,” will be discussed by Jum “Simpson” Zhang, visiting scholar from Nanjing (China) University of Information Science and Technology, at the Brown Bag International Lecture at noon, Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the International House, Washburn University. The event is open to the public. The international programs office sponsors the series.
Zhang will focus on aspects of American cultural, spiritual, historical, religious, ideological, pragmatic identity, American identity of the social system in Jewish American literature and Chinese minority literature.
