Waste Basket decorating contest to benefit United Way

Students, faculty and staff of Washburn University let their creative juices flow by entering the United Way waste basket decorating contest. Participants decorated the waste baskets with a Washburn or United Way theme in mind.

The 16 waste basket entries are on display for silent auction 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and now through May 4, main level, Memorial Union.

The silent auction will conclude from 5 to 6:45 p.m., Friday, May 4 at Washburn After Hours, Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center.
