Ichabod Senior Day at Washburn, Jan. 27

Washburn University will welcome more than 150 high school seniors and their guests from across Kansas at this year’s final Ichabod Senior Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27. More than 50 percent of students who attend an Ichabod Senior Day choose to enroll at Washburn.

A variety of activities are planned to introduce students to courses, programs and services available at Washburn. They will attend seminars on student life, majors, financial aid and admissions to Washburn. This day allows seniors to learn what to look for in a college and what opportunities are available at Washburn University.

8:30 – 9 a.m. The Ichabod mascot and Washburn faculty and staff will meet and greet

9 – 9:20 a.m. Welcome, Dr. Jerry Farley, Washburn University president

9:20 a.m. – 9:35 a.m. Student testimonial and Washburn history
