Washburn University’s English Department, College of Arts and Sciences, seeks qualified candidates for a tenure-track position, teaching pre-Renaissance British literature (Old and/or Middle English), and other courses, and perform departmental research and service. Teaching assignments may include the first half of the British literature survey course, a period course in medieval literature, and Modern English Grammar, as well as advanced composition. PhD in English or related field, with a specialization in pre-Renaissance or Medieval British Literature.
