
Washburn University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Mathematics Education, contingent upon funding, to begin August 1, 2013. A doctorate in Mathematics Education, Mathematics, or a related field is required. Experience in elementary or secondary school teaching is desirable, along with an interest in working with elementary and secondary pre-service and in-service teachers. The teaching load will consist of 12 semester hours of mathematics education and mathematics courses. A record of successful grant-writing and the potential for conducting in-service workshops are a plus. Salary and beginning rank are commensurate with qualifications.
