Washburn University’s Social Work Department invites applications for two 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor positions beginning August 1, 2013.  QUALIFICATIONS:  Required:  Master’s degree in social work and Doctorate in social work or closely related discipline.  Two years full-time, post-Master’s practice experience.  Willingness to teach some courses online.  Ability and willingness to teach a variety of courses at the BSW and MSW levels.  Preferred:  University teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Evidence of ability to teach online.  Willingness to assume program administrative responsibility in the future.  Licensed at the advanced clinical social work level.  RESPONSIBILITIES:  Teach four courses each semester, academic advising, scholarship, committee service and related responsibilities.  Application review begins December 1, 2012 and continues until the positions are filled.  Positions are pending the availability of funds.  Submit letter of interest, curriculum vita, and names/contact information of three references to:
