Office of Sponsored Projects

Training and Professional Development

The OSP hosts Brown Bag discussions on specific grant topics that are open to all Washburn University faculty, staff, and students. By request, OSP can provide small group project-specific or individualized grant proposal assistance. Periodically, OSP will host an intensive training to draft an actual proposal and develop a project plan for completion and submission. Refer to the Upcoming Events to find out about the next training. To schedule a small group or individualized session with the OSP, please contact Debra Mikulka.

Grant Development Checklists and Power Point trainings are being developed for a variety of topics. While the specific requirements for each grant opportunity can vary greatly, these checklists can help guide the preparation of your proposal. If there are specific topics not listed for which you would like more information, please inform the Office of Sponsored Projects.
