Diploma Replacement

If your diploma has been lost or damaged, you can order a replacement. The cost to replace a diploma is $30, and payment must be included with your replacement request. Replacement diplomas will be available approximately six to eight weeks after the request is placed.

Ordering a replacement diploma

If you wish to have your diploma replaced, please print and complete the Diploma Replacement Form (below) and

  • mail the form to the address below, along with the $30 fee—the University Registrar’s Office accepts cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover—or
  • scan the form into a computer and email it to registrar@washburn.edu, including credit card information, or
  • fax the form to (785) 670-1104, including credit card information, or
  • bring the form to the Student Service Center, Morgan Hall, Room 177.

Washburn University policy requires that all requests for diploma replacement be made in writing, and signed, and dated by the student.

We will contact you when your replacement diploma arrives, and when it does, you can pick it up in the Student Service Center, MO 177, during regular business hours.  You will need to present photo ID.

If you wish to have your diploma mailed to you, please complete the mailing portion of the Diploma Replacement Form and include the mailing fee with your payment.
