Academic Advising

Undecided Students

Academic Advising in the Center for Student Success serves all students on campus who have not yet decided on a major.

Our mission is to collaborate with students and provide academic advising that will assist students in making informed educational plans based on their individual abilities and educational and personal life goals.

Undecided students will be assigned one of the five professional advisors in the office.  Students may schedule an appointment for assistance with:

  • Information about majors and degree options
  • Course selection in relation to their abilities, interests and goals
  • Referrals for assistance with improving study skills, academic success workshops, choosing a major and other student success resources
  • Changing majors
  • Information about university policies and procedures
