A daily routine of moderately-paced walking/exercise can help you control your weight, lower cholesterol, strengthen your heart, and reduce the likelihood of serious health problems down the road.
This program will run for 6 weeks, Monday, October 7 – Friday, November 15. Your goal is to walk/exercise daily to see how many European cities you can visit. Any type of exercise will count towards your accumulated time. We will (virtually) travel from Madrid- Paris- Berlin- Vienna- Rome-Tirana for a total of 2071 miles. You will need to convert exercise minutes to miles; 1 minute of exercise = 1 mile! For example, if you work out for 20 minutes you will have made it 20 miles from Madrid to Paris.
Goals for program:
Beginner: 150 min exercise per week (ACSM exercise guidelines)
Intermediate: 225 min exercise per week
Advanced: 300 min exercise per week
