Travel with the Washburn Alumni Association is a benefit of membership. Since we sell out nearly every trip we offer, at least one traveler who shares a room must be a member of the Alumni Association. You don't have to be a graduate of Washburn to be a member of the Association or to travel with us. The more the merrier. Join online.

In Germany, sail past castles commanding the riverbanks. Admire Cologne, the jewel of the Rhine, with its awe-inspiring Dom, and witness the lush landscape of the Black Forest region. Explore Holland’s famous windmills and waterworks, and encounter multicultural Strasbourg in France. Disembark in Basel and return home. Enjoy and experience the beauty, culture and history of Peru. Begin your journey in the ancient city of Lima, then fly to Cusco and explore colonial style churches, ancient Inca culture, temples and the amazing Sacred Valley. Along the way, trace the rise and fall of the Inca civilization, culminating with a visit to the breathtaking ruins of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven World Wonders. Travel by bus to Puno, stopping along the way in Andahuaylillas, Racchi and Pukara. While in Puno, located on Lake Titicaca, visit the floating islands of the Uro people, an ancestral society that inhabits a series of artificial islands built with totora, a reed that grows in the lake. Visit Sillustani, a pre-Incan cemetery on the shores of Lake Umayo. Board a plane back to Lima and further explore the city visiting the Barranco and Miraflores districts, the Museo de Osma, the Mario Testino Art Gallery and Larcomar.

Back by popular demand, we’re headed to Mexico for the fifth year in a row. Get away next winter and enjoy the sun, sugary-white sands and crystal-clear waters of the Mexican Caribbean at the all-inclusive Sandos Playacar Beach Resort located in Playa del Carmen, 20 miles south of Cancun. Experience Cuba, this once forbidden island nation, aboard Oceania’s intimate, 684 passenger ship, Sirena. The cruise starts and ends in Miami with visits to three Cuban cities. Spend two days in the island’s largest and most lively city, Havana. Then enjoy a relaxing day at sea before arriving in the former French settlement and bayside city of Cienfuegos. Sail to the southeastern cultural hub of Santiago de Cuba, home of the Battle of San Juan Hill and the Cuban Revolution’s victory proclamation. Enjoy one last day at sea before returning to Miami.
