International Resources for Faculty

Taking Students Abroad

The Office of International Programs (OIP) welcomes Washburn's faculty to develop and lead study abroad programs. If you would like to learn more about taking your classroom global please contact us at studyabroad@washburn.edu.

The Faculty-led Study Abroad Program Development Guide contains a suggested seven month guideline for developing a program.

The Faculty-led Study Abroad Program Proposal Packet is required for all new and repeat programs. Submit a completed proposal packet to the OIP which is located in the International House. Program reviews begin July 1st for the upcoming academic year.  It is important to submit your proposals as early as possible as a limited amount of scholarship funds are available.
