Helen P. Bradley is the Director of the Chatham County, GA, Victim-Witness Assistance Program in District Attorney Larry Chisolm's office. The Savannah Victim-Witness Assistance Program has received numerous local, statewide and national awards. The program received national recognition by the National Organization for Victim Assistance as best victim service program in the nation.
Ms. Bradley was a member of Governor Barnes' Criminal Justice Coordinating Council where she served on the compensation and victims' subcommittees. She is a member of Georgians for Victim Justice, the Chatham County Family Violence Council, child abuse task force and Georgia Sexual Assault Task Force. She was a founding board member of the Coastal Children's Advocacy Center. She is a member of the Chatham County S.A.L.T. Council (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) and is a trainer and founder of the Georgia Victim Assistance Academy and has conducted professional trainings on victim issues throughout the country. She received a master's degree from Georgia Southern University, her undergraduate degree from Clemson University, and is certified by the National Organization for Victim Assistance as a crisis responder.
