Clinical experiences will be across the lifespan. Students choose their clinical placements with the Program Director's approval. This allows students to find placements that are convenient and close to where they live.
All classes for the PMHNP Post Graduate program are offered online. The majority of classes are offered asynchronous in a self paced format that students can complete on their own and submitted by specific due dates. There are also a limited number of classes each semester that are synchronous. These classes meet at a specific time in a virtual format with all students participating live at that time. These “live” class times provide for communication and connection with faculty and peers, provide important information, build connections with your peers and provide time for student presentation.
Out of state students are responsible for contacting their state nursing board to verify any requirements that are needed in order to conduct clinicals as a student or apply for a nurse practitioner license in their state upon graduation from an online, out of state program
