Melanie has a Masters of Arts from University of Arizona and is currently a Doctoral student at KU.
Melanie’s scholarly interests and activities are ASL teaching and research, ASL Linguistic, Deaf Culture/History, North American Indian Sign Language research and linguistic study, Native Deaf Culture/History, Multicultural Deaf Education, Educational Interpreters Training, Multicultural Interpreters Training, also Linguistic Anthropology.
Melanie is a presenter, researcher, and co-author of 2 books.
