Corrie Wright

I received my bachelor's from Washburn University in Human Services with an emphasis in youth services.  I then graduated from Kansas State University with a master's in Family Life Education and Consultation.  I have extensive licensures in asbestos, housing quality, lead-based paint and real estate.

At a young age I decided that my life's work would center on giving back to the community and helping others in need.  Over the last 10 years, I have worked diligently on helping the homeless in Topeka.  Additionally, I have a deep passion to help educate people about living kidney organ donation.    These two endeavors have placed me in positions where I lead the Homeless Task Force and am the co-founder of the Living Kidney Donation Alliance.  I also am a member of the Patient Affairs Committee of United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS).

I enjoy teaching and motivating others to continue learning and make a difference!
