Program Annual Assessment Reports

The Annual Program Assessment Report provides an opportunity to summarize the program's activities related to assessment over the previous year. It is designed to be "rolled" each year so each program ultimately has a report that covers a six-year cycle.

Annual Reports are due by June 30 each year to assessment@washburn.edu for review by the Assessment Committee in July. The current academic year's annual program assessment reports will be posted between July 15 and August 1, 2014.

Strategic Plan

The Washburn Board of Regents approved a major initiative in January 2009 to develop a strategic plan for the university. On April 9, 2010, the Washburn University Strategic Plan was enthusiastically approved by the Board. The Plan represents the hard work and commitment of numerous people across campus and the Topeka community.

This Strategic Plan will guide the University in the next decade to ensure success in fulfilling Washburn's mission. The continuing involvement of Washburn students, faculty, staff, and the community will be essential to the Plan's success.

Program Review

The Washburn University Program Review process is designed to support continuous quality improvement in all areas of the university. Each academic, co-curricular, and administrative department undergoes a review of all aspects of the program every five years. The results of each program review are summarized and presented to the Washburn Board of Regents.
