Washburn’s College Portrait includes information such as the characteristics of students and faculty, admissions requirements, popular majors, average class sizes, and the plans of graduates. It also includes cost of attendance and financial aid information and an interactive tool for users to estimate their own costs while attending Washburn.
The College Portrait provides basic information on the characteristics of schools and students in a standard format. It was developed as a part of the Voluntary System of Accountability (VSA) to provide greater accountability through accessible, transparent, and comparable information. VSA is a voluntary initiative for four-year public colleges and universities, developed through a partnership between the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) and the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU).
