  • Line
  • Shape
  • Color
  • Texture
  • Space
  • Value

Treasure Chests are available for checkout to Topeka-area:

  • Preschools

  • Daycare centers
  • Home schools
  • Families

Treasure Chests are funded by a start-up grant from the Topeka Community Foundation.

Resource Library
Bigger and bigger it grows...and where it stops, nobody knows! Expanding by the minute, the Mulvane resource library houses all kinds of artistic goodies to help you bring art to life for your students:

  • Books
  • Videos
  • Lesson plans
  • Reproductions
  • Periodicals

The library is open to the public, and spans all levels of learning, from the wee ones to the grown-up types. Feel free to use these goodies with your existing art program, or completely solo.

Resource Guides
Elementary school teachers hoping to weave art into their lessons are in luck. The Mulvane has resource guides that are lesson plans unto themselves:

These guides use images from the Mulvane's permanent collection to not only support art learning, but connect it to other curricula. Available for checkout - no library card required!
