Cascade is a web content management system (CMS) that organizes files for the Washburn University website. It allows the Campus Content Managers (CCMs) to readily access, create, and maintain their web pages.

What is my username and password?

Your username is your WUAD username and password. If you are still having trouble logging in or cannot remember your username, contact Erin Manuel, erin.manuel@washburn.edu.

Why aren't my changes showing on the site?

If you have made changes to pages in Cascade and they are not showing on this site, try these suggestions first:

  • Make sure you have published the pages. Do this by going to the page and clicking on the Publish tab. Then click submit.
  • Refresh the page in your browser by hitting CTRL+R on your keyboard until you see the changes.
  • View the pages in another browser that you don't use often. Browsers may store older versions of visited pages in it's cache.
    • NOTE: Mozilla Firefox is the suggested browser to use when working in Cascade. Firefox can be found on all campus computers by searching for "Mozilla Firefox" in the Start menu. Internet Explorer is not fully compatible with Cascade and some features may not work properly.
