Permissions relating to copyright and "Fair Use" are changing. New media has brought with it changes, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Technology, Education and Copyright Harmonization (TEACH) Act. This legislation helps address these changes by providing guidelines for copyright.

The best way to protect your rights (and the rights of others) is to arm yourself with information about copyright. This site is designed to provide the information you need to understand copyright and how it affects you, your classes, your work, Web sites and classroom resources.
