To provide comprehensive human resource management programs in support of the mission of excellence in teaching and scholarly work of Washburn University.
Human Resources staff members are strongly committed to facilitating the employment and development of University employees through recruitment, orientation, salary administration, and training. We are also strongly dedicated to the attraction and retention of all employees through the administration and enhancement of the University’s exceptional benefit programs.
Human Resources staff members strive to interact positively with all University's constituents, regardless of their affiliation with Washburn. The University community should feel appropriately informed and have a better understanding of the human resource programs of the University in any interaction.

Cherisa Jones
- Assistant Director, Talent Acquisition
Cherisa manages effective recruitment efforts, position description maintenance and compensation reviews for the university.
Debi Meier
- HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST
Debi coordinates the recruitment and employment efforts with Academic Affairs including on/offboarding, contracts/appointment letters, data management and personnel files.
Donna Cuevas
- ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR-HUMAN RESOURCES, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Donna manages the insurance and investment plans for the university, also administers workers’ compensation and FMLA (A-M).
Erin Wilson
- ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Erin supports all aspects of the employee life cycle for Washburn, with primary location at the Huntoon Campus.
Lindsay Monroe
- BENEFITS ANALYST
Lindsay coordinates insurance and benefit plan enrollment. Handles FMLA for employees (M-Z). Maintains records related to employment, compensation and web time entry.
Nicole Krambeer
- TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST
Nicole supports all staff recruitment, employment, and onboarding processes and assists supervisors using the ATS system.
DEE MYERS
- STUDENT EMPLOYMENT COORDINATOR
Dee is responsible for the recruitment and HR onboarding for all student employment positions.
TERESA LEE
- Assistant Vice President, Human Resources
Teresa's responsibilities include planning, administering and directing the Washburn University Human Resources programs.
