Admissions Counselor

Bachelor's degree, or degree completion by the end of the spring semester.  Proven ability to multi-task and handle a variety of assignments.  Commitment to participate in professional organizations related to college admissions.  Ability to travel for extended periods, to move and/or maneuver materials weighing as much as 30 pounds, and to develop rapport and relationships with a variety of individuals including those from under-represented and diverse student populations.  Flexibility to work irregular hours.  Valid Kansas driver’s license with driving record acceptable to the University.

Employment at Washburn University will be conditioned upon satisfactory completion of a background check.

Salary is approximately $30K  commensurate with qualifications.

Programmer Analyst


Recruitment No. PA0614

Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Sciences or related field, or combination of education and experience equivalent to a degree.  Two years of experience that includes SQL programming and database management support.  Experience using Excel spreadsheets to organize, format, filter, chart and report data.  Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing; to manage multiple projects concurrently; to work independently and collaboratively with multiple constituencies; to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.  Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
