There are many ways for you to visit Washburn: personalized campus visits, Ichabod Days for seniors and juniors; and Ichabods at Night. Call us at 877-281-BODS (2637), and we’ll arrange something that suits your needs.
On a personalized visit, you’ll take a campus tour with a current Washburn student, speak with faculty about your area of academic interest, and get your questions about admissions and scholarships answered by an admissions counselor. Ichabod Senior Days give high school seniors a detailed look at academics and student life at Washburn. You’ll learn what courses you might take for your major and careers for which it can prepare you, and you’ll explore the extracurricular opportunities that can enrich your academic experience. Meet professors and coaches, take a tour of campus, and meet your future classmates in a fun setting. You’ll even get to sample Washburn’s food because we’ll treat you to lunch!
Stay overnight with a student host in a residence hall or Greek chapter house. Enjoy weekend activities on campus and in the community.
It’s never too early to connect with Washburn University. High school juniors will learn about academic majors, student activities, opportunities for internships and community involvement in Topeka, and exciting career paths. You’ll also get a taste of Washburn’s delicious food when we treat you to lunch.
The Office of Admissions hosts Ichabod Transfer Day in the fall and spring. The program includes presentations by admissions and financial aid representatives, faculty, and students; a tour; and opportunities to connect with advisors and learn how your credit will transfer.
