Why United Way?

United Way of Greater Topeka brings together people, companies and nonprofits to create positve, sustainable change in our community. With its partners, United Way works to solve challenges no single donor, charity or government agency can handle alone. By focusing on education, income and health, United Way

  • helps more young people graduate from high school and get stable jobs
  • helps families become financially stable and
  • helps to improve the over all health of our community.

For more than 80 years, United Way has been changing and improving lives throughout the Topeka area. United Way believes everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed and it believes in the potential of every human being.

Donate $150 or more!

If you donate $150 or more annually as an unrestricted donation, you will be part of the United Way Caring Club and receive special discounts from vendors throughout Greater Topeka. You'll also be invited to a special Washburn Caring Club reception.
