Washburn Student Government Association

Hello friends and fellow Ichabods,

As President and Vice President of the Washburn Student Government Association (WSGA), we welcome you to Washburn University! We are excited to have everyone back on campus for the 2014-2015 academic year.

This upcoming year will mark the first portion of our University’s Sesquicentennial Celebration. As we commemorate 150 years of excellence at Washburn, it is important to remember that you, as students, play an integral role in the success of our University. Washburn is a fantastic academic institution, but your experience will not be complete unless you are engaged and involved. This involvement can take many forms: joining student organizations, Greek life, departmental groups, honors societies, community sponsored organizations, and working on campus. This will be a fantastic and historic year for us and our University, we welcome you to participate in all the events and activities that are available.

WSGA is here to assist and augment your experience at Washburn. Feel free to stop by the Lower Level of the Memorial Union anytime you have questions or concerns about the University or the city of Topeka, want to learn more about getting involved, or if you simply want to visit. We look forward to seeing and working with you this year.

Go Bods!
