APSI

Ad Astra Advanced Placement Summer Institute

July 18 – 21, 2016

2015 marked the tenth year of the annual Ad Astra AP® Summer Institutes. More than 300 AP teachers from twenty states participated in the institutes last year and went away with lots of new ideas and strategies to improve their AP courses.

Unless noted otherwise, all of the 2016 AP Summer Institutes listed below are open to both new and experienced AP teachers. Each institute will last 30 hours (the tentative schedule is 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Thursday). The fee for each institute is $600 and includes all AP materials, refreshments and lunches Monday through Thursday.

Early registration is encouraged as each institute is limited to 30 participants. Registrations must be made by June 17, 2016, or there will be an additional $50 late fee.

Cancellations made prior to June 24 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be made after that date, but school districts may submit teacher substitutions until July 8, 2016. Washburn and USD #233 do not endorse nor promote any single resource or AP exam support information
